  • 1953 – BBC-TV aired the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in Westminster Abbey.
  • 1957 – Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev was interviewed on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
  • 1978 – On “Midnight Special” Crystal Gayle hosted to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
  • 1999 – The final episode of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” aired.
