Dick Van Dyke recently stepped out in Los Angeles for a quiet walk with his wife, Arlene Silver. The 100-year-old television and movie legend used a walker during the outing as the couple stopped at Starbucks for refreshments.

According to PageSix, the appearance offered fans a rare glimpse of the beloved Mary Poppins star away from Hollywood events. Meanwhile, Silver stayed close to her husband and helped him as he got out of their vehicle before the pair continued their walk together.

Previously, the couple appeared together in April at the opening of Malibu Urgent Care. During that event, Van Dyke used a cane while sitting beside musician Herb Alpert. However, he also delighted those around him by dancing and chatting with guests. His latest appearance, therefore, showed a much quieter moment between the actor and the woman he has called the love of his life.

Additionally, reaching 100 has given Dick Van Dyke opportunities to reflect on aging and the life he still hopes to enjoy. The six-time Emmy winner has said that death does not frighten him while also making clear that he would happily welcome much more time. After a career spanning generations, the entertainer remains closely associated with classics, including The Dick Van Dyke Show and Mary Poppins. Now, his occasional public appearances offer longtime admirers a chance to see the legendary performer enjoying everyday moments with his wife by his side.
