The wife of the late John Lennon, Yoko, has lived in their Dakota building for over fifty years, even after her husband’s tragic death in 1980.

Primarily, Yoko enjoys the comfort of her privacy, largely spending time with her son and close friends. She has also welcomed guests, organized parties at her home, and appeared in public a few times. Recently, Yoko moved out of her comfort zone, the Dakota apartment, where she had spent most of her life, to even enjoy more solitude.

At 90, Yoko Ono made a major decision to relocate to a cool farmland in Franklin, New York, where she would be living permanently. She and her late husband, John Lennon, bought the farm in 1978, two years before he unexpectedly passed away. Although she has made many memories with her best people there, she chose to let go of it and moved to the farm in Franklin.

On her 90th birthday, she celebrated with her son, Sean Lennon, his fiancée, and Elliot Mintz, who has been Yoko’s close friend for a long time. When Elliot spoke about the party on Instagram, he noted that the atmosphere was warm, filled with laughter, delicious foods, good songs, and happiness.

Now at 92, Yoko Ono is still living on the farmland in Franklin, away from the public’s attention. She has also retired from her businesses and handed them over to her 49-year-old son, Sean, especially because her husband’s wealth needed someone more active. Yoko Ono is also still keeping her unit in the Dakota building and has not listed it yet.

Yoko Ono is currently facing some health challenges, but this is not uncommon for a person of her age. She sits in a wheelchair and requires all-around-the-clock care. To beat depression, she takes a long walk around the city, choosing to see only the positive side of her declining health.
