On Wednesday, Rain Drops Media shared a video on X of a man claiming to be Jamie Foxx’s unacknowledged son. He also claimed they last met on a red carpet three years ago. This led to old photos of Foxx and actor Justin Martin from The Soloist premiere in 2009 resurfaced online.
Some users mistakenly shared the images as proof of Foxx with his alleged son. Others quickly pointed out that the pictures were from a movie event and did not confirm any relationship. As of now, Foxx has not responded.

In the video, the man accused Foxx of not caring about him, saying the actor left him struggling with no financial help. He described living in his car for two years while trying to provide for his own children. Unlike Foxx, he said he wasn’t an actor and had no support.
Frustrated, he spoke about growing up with privilege but now facing hardship. He admitted he didn’t expect Foxx to help him and didn’t care if the video went viral. He even said he was open to doing interviews to share more of his story.
Fans react with mixed feelings to the allegations
The video quickly spread online, and reactions were divided. Some people saw a resemblance between the man and Foxx. One user wrote, “You are your daddy’s son lol.” Another added, “D-mn he looks like him.” However, many criticized the man for expecting handouts instead of taking responsibility.
One person wrote, “I was raised with a silver spoon too… And now as an ADULT… I’m grinding my -ss off. Real men make moves, not excuses.” Another mocked him, saying, “Grown man pushing 45-50 talking about ‘my daddy got me homeless.’” Others dismissed his story and told him to get a job.
