Pat Sajak returned to hosting duties for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on Monday, and fans are not willing to let him go this time. His daughter and the show’s social media correspondent Maggie Sajak showed a glimpse of him preparing for the special on her Instagram page, garnering reactions from eager fans.
The 78-year-old got suited up and made for the stage again, like he has done for the last 40 years. “Look who’s back behind the Wheel,” Maggie wrote. Pat looked cheerful as ever, after spending nearly six months away from the show.

Maggie’s post got Wheel of Fortune fans excited, as they could not wait for Monday night’s episode. “Thankfully, we still have celebrity WHEEL OF FORTUNE!!” a relieved follower said. Pat, I miss your excitement, smiles, and laughter. We know you deserve retirement, but we’re a little selfish as we miss you so much,” another added while pleading for his comeback.
The new game show host Ryan Seacrest took a few pokes from viewers who find his delivery underwhelming compared to Sajak. “Sure miss you Pat, the new guy just isn’t cutting it,” a third person complained; however, someone defended Ryan, saying he has been impressive so far.
Ryan Seacrest is yet to win viewers over as Pat Sajak returns
While Sajak makes a brief comeback for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Ryan is still having a hard time getting viewers on his side, as they continue to compare him with the former show host. He has hosted up to eight episodes of Wheel Of Fortune so far, with fans having a problem with his conduct in nearly all of them.
He came under fire after last week Tuesday’s episode for letting contestant Oleh Voloshyn miss out on more prize money. Meanwhile, fans wonder if Sajak’s daughter might be taking over from Vanna White, who now works with Ryan as the letter-turner.
