Wynonna Judd has been through family-related ups and downs since her mother and singing partner, Naomi Judd, died by suicide in 2022, just before her induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. While still hit by Naomi’s absence, Judd is having to face more issues within her household.
The iconic singer is currently caught up in another family drama with her daughter, Grace Kelley, who has been arrested yet again. In April, she was arrested and jailed for public lewdness and caught in another case just last month for driving with an invalid license and attempting to escape an officer.
Why did Wynonna Judd’s daughter get arrested again?
Grace was released last month on a $2,750 bond, but she has gotten into trouble with the law again. Judd’s friends say the singer is embarrassed and troubled by her daughter’s reputation amid living without Naomi. A source called for help on behalf of Judd, who has been raising Grace’s two-year-old since 2017.

The country community, which includes Dolly Parton, has been supportive of Judd. Dolly reportedly checks in on her with motherly advice to spare. She also receives calls and prayers from others in the clan, which is a bit of relief as the singer is said to be spiraling lately.
Judd’s friends support her amid the family turmoil
The insider assured that Judd’s friends are keeping her company with calls, visits, dinner invites, and care packages while she navigates her family woes. As expected, the singer is currently struggling with her schedule and finding it hard to perform. However, her support system is committed to keeping her in good spirits.
Judd’s other child, Elijah, is a deputy at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee. The mother of two has previously joked about the irony of her children’s contrasting reputations, saying she has one on parole and another on patrol.
