It has been 40 years since ’80s film star Amanda Wyss played the unforgettable character Tina Gray of A Nightmare on Elm Street, which was the first to get murdered by Robert Englund’s Freddy Krueger. Amanda recently reunited with her co-stars during the movie’s anniversary, and one could not help but notice how gorgeous she looked.
She posed with Robert, Lin Shaye, Jsu Garcia, and Heather Langenkamp to celebrate four decades since being on set together and posted the moment to her Instagram. The 62-year-old looked like a teenager as she rocked a pair of jeans and a top that showed off her toned, slim figure.
Amanda Wyss has only seen her movie once
Amanda admitted to Exit 6 Film Festival that she only watched A Nightmare On Elm Street about once or twice as she hardly enjoys seeing herself in it. She expressed her gratitude for the movie’s success, which included Academy Award nominations, noting that she feels lucky to have been a part of it.

Before playing Tina, Amanda won the hearts of movie lovers in 1982’s Fast Times at Ridgemont High, featuring the likes of Nicolas Cage, Forest Whittaker, and Sean Penn. After Elm Street, she appeared in productions like Cheers, CSI, and Charmed.
She auditioned for a different role
Unknown to most, Amanda had an eye for playing Nancy Thompson. However, she landed a supporting role as Tina, with Heather taking the lead as Nancy instead. Amanda has no regrets about the part she ended up with, as it put her further on the map in Hollywood.
Aside from acting, the 62-year-old lives a private life but loves to travel and share her experiences with her Instagram followers. She has been to a few countries, including Italy and Switzerland, in the past few months and enjoyed some time on the beach, too.
