Pamela Anderson remains the new icon of zero makeup. She showed up to the pre-Met Gala party with a bare face, showing off her naturally glowing skin and pink gloss as she strutted into the venue wearing a shimmery silver-chain link skirt under a white oversized button-down shirt.
She looked effortlessly gorgeous, with her shiny blonde locks sweeping to the side and cascading to her shoulders. The Sonsie Skincare partner accessorized with nude pump heels and minimalist silver earrings that sat pretty on her earlobes.

Pamela debuted her no-makeup look at last October’s Paris Fashion Week, where she explained that it was “very freeing to be comfortable in your own skin.” She was inspired to ditch the routine after her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died of breast cancer in 2019. Vogel was famous for creating Pamela’s signature smokey eye look in the ‘90s, which younger ones have tried to recreate recently.

She has since acquired a reputation for appearing natural and simple at star-studded events like the 2023 British Fashion Awards, the recent Oscars after-party, and even as a cover girl for outlets like Perfect Magazine. During a recent chat with Glamour, the formerly bronzed-up model noted that “anti-aging is a lie” while encouraging women like herself to “find the sense of humor” in getting older.

Going makeup-free means investing more in one’s bare skin, so Pamela is a go-to person for all things skincare. The 56-year-old collaborates with German-born model and content creator Marie von Behrens-Felipe and her husband, Roberto A. Felipe, on their vegan, cruelty-free skincare line, Sonsie.
The Baywatch alum believes her decision to show off her natural looks rather than cover it up with products has aligned her with matching opportunities. “As soon as I kind of started peeling back the layers, the world just opened up, you know, and this chapter in my life is really exciting,” she gushed. Further expressing her passion for human, animal, and environmental rights, Pamela also runs the Pamela Anderson Foundation and advocates for sustainable, kindly-created products.
