Chynna Phillips recently shared a heartbreaking health update with her fans. The renowned singer bravely opened up about her medical condition during a heartfelt video that she shared on her YouTube channel on Tuesday, April 23, which she captioned, “My Worst Fear Came True.”
The singer explained that the abnormal cell mass, even though it is non-malignant, has been growing in her leg since childhood, but she couldn’t recall if she was born with it. However, Chyna is taking a leap of faith to have the “14 inches long and 4 inches wide,” tumor removed.

Chynna mentioned that she has a span of eight weeks to get ready before her scheduled surgery to remove that tumor, yet she’s feeling deeply anxious about the surgical procedure. Although this isn’t her first time being on the operating table, she is trying so hard to wrap her head around a lot of ways the surgery could go wrong.

The proud mother of three shared her phobia for “anesthesia,” as she feels the temporary sedation which is accompanied by temporary loss of sensation or awareness to reduce pain or panic will be the closest she has come to “being dead.”
The 56-year-old looks like she is still in denial and hasn’t fully come to terms with the process of her scheduled surgery. She expressed that she never imagined she would face such a medical condition as the unexpected turn of events caught her completely off guard.
Phillips told her devoted followers about her unwavering determination to transform her anxieties into prayers, relying on her deep-rooted faith to guide her through this challenging trial. She ended the video by affirming her strong belief claiming, “I know that Jesus can help me with this if I radically surrender.”
