Priscilla Presley’s only son, Navarone Garibaldi turned 37 on March 1 and was celebrated by his mother and her fans. The musician and former lead singer of the rock band Them Guns has lived a tough life, being overshadowed by his late stepfather and step-sister. “A lot of people know about me, but they don’t know me,” he once said.
Priscilla had Navarone with film producer Marco Garibaldi five years into their relationship. Both parents went their separate ways in 2006, and Navarone experienced heartbreak after realizing his father had changed his identity for a spot in Hollywood. Marco, whose real last name was Garcia, was hardly involved in Navarone’s life after his split from Priscilla.

After his step-sister, Lisa Marie Presley’s death, Navarone revealed they did not have the best relationship over the years. He expressed his regrets about the strain on their closeness and wished her rest with his stepdad, Elvis Presley, and her late son, Benjamin Keough. “I wish things had been different between us. Regardless, you are my sister,” his note read.

Thanks to intervention from Priscilla, who has lost loved ones to drugs over the years. “I was pretty much in my bed in the fetal position all day…feels like a different lifetime, almost. The whole world got a lot better,” he recalled. Although he still takes alcohol, Navarone is clean of fentanyl and now focuses on his thriving music career.
