Jane Fonda looked different at a recent event in New York City. The Oscar-winning actress opted for a new hairstyle, taking a break from her signature blow-out bob to rock a curly look. Although Fonda switches up her classic hairdo from time to time, this soft curly bob she opted for is a rare one for her.
Fonda rocked her new hairstyle to a High-Level Event for Nature & People: From Ambition to Action in order to speak on domestic and international biodiversity efforts and agreements. She wore bold lashes and bright pink lipstick for makeup that complemented her silver hair.
Fonda’s ‘activism look’
Fonda is an activist; interestingly, she wears an “activism face” during such occasions or even a protest. “I put some blush on, I put a black liner on my eyes, I curl my eyelashes, I put black mascara on the upper lashes and the lower lashes,” she told Allure.

The actress completes her special social-cause look with a lip pencil and bright red or pale pink lipstick. “As you get older, the line of your lips gets less distinct, so I have to use a lip pencil, and then I put lipstick on,” she added. “That’s my activism face.”
Fonda loves her gray hair
Fonda styled her hair in a center part that cascaded down in waves to her collar. Her gray hair looked gorgeously styled, along with her all-black outfit. The actress loves her hair and credits her stylist for making it beautiful.
“I’ve let my hair go gray. But my hairstylist is very talented, and he styles my hair in a way that is very youthful and chic-looking,” she said. For Fonda, looking good is as important as standing up for yourself. “It’s important for people to know that because you’re an activist and a feminist doesn’t mean that you can’t look good,” she added.
