Following Madonna’s recent health scare, the singer shared a heartfelt update with her fans, giving them insight into her ongoing recovery. Madonna serenaded her fan by posting an Instagram video of herself dancing slowly to her 1984 hit track.

“To be able to move my body,” Madonna wrote in the caption, “and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!”

Madonna also expressed her gratitude to her fans worldwide while also paying tribute to the 40th anniversary of her first album, Madonna, which was released on July 27, 1983.

“Thank you to all of my fans and friends! You must be my lucky stars too!” she wrote. “And Happy 40th Birthday to my very first album.”

Fans, colleagues, and friends react to Madonna’s Instagram post

Her excited friends and colleagues hurriedly gathered in the comments section to express their unwavering support for her. “YES YES YES!!!! Move that body queeeeeennnnn!!” Michelle Visage wrote. “We are rooting, praying and rejoicing!!!”

” There she is!!!!! ❤️❤️,” Andy Cohen commented. “Still my favorite album ever,” American DJ Diplo wrote about the singer’s debut album.

Madonna’s fans also thanked her for the lovely music she produced over the years. “Thank you for posting this queen As you know that it would make us happy to see you getting better and better,” a fan wrote. “Thank you for being my lucky star for 40 years (and counting) love you always!!”

“Madonna we love you so much. Your first album came out the year I was born and I literally don’t know what life is without you and your music in it,” a third fan wrote. “You inspire me tremendously and I love you so much. You’re beautiful inside and out and your strength and perseverance is something that should be in the history books. You are the queen, but you’re also just a human with thoughts and feelings and a human body. I think a lot of people forget that. I just want you to know that you’ve given us more than we could’ve ever dreamed. You forever have a place in my heart, soul, and existence. I love you.”
