Sharon Osbourne has been open about her ongoing weight loss journey and her effort to manage it through different means, such as diet and exercise. In 1999, Osbourne underwent gastric bypass surgery and lost significant weight, but she later admitted to regaining some of it.
Recently the 70-year-old showcased her slimmed-down figure as she went shopping in Beverly Hills. Opting for a relaxed look, the TV personality donned an expansive white shirt paired with black trousers while wearing a white hat and sunglasses to shield her from the radiant Los Angeles sun.

The TV personality recently disclosed that she opted for a weight loss injection which successfully helped her to achieve her goals. “It is a mental problem. It really is, apart from, you know, when children grow up in a household where they live off chips and pies,” Sharon admitted to the media outlet. “But I took [the injections]. I took it for four months and I lost 30 pounds. But listen, I took it for four months, I lost 30 pounds. I’ve just shoved two chips in my mouth, while we had the break, and I eat normally now, and I haven’t put on a pound. Nothing.”

However, the 70-year-old further revealed that she also encountered significant adverse effects from using the injection. “But like everything, there’s always no quick recipe,” she added. “I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.”
Sharon Osbourne had previously revealed that she regretted her gastric bypass surgery
While the injection wasn’t an ideal solution, it represented a less drastic approach than her regretful 1999 gastric bypass surgery, as she openly acknowledged. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sharon revealed that she did not feel good about the surgery as she believed that the weight loss was not obtained healthily.
“I felt like such a cheat when I had that band on my stomach,” she confessed to the news outlet. “It makes you vomit the whole time. Nothing goes down because it goes out.”
