JFK’s Grandson Just Made His Television Debut On An Episode Of ‘Blue Bloods’

John F. Kennedy is often regarded as one of the most well-known presidents in American history. JFK was a young president, which helped his popular image. He served from 1961 until his assassination in 1963.

JFK and his wife, Jacqueline, had four children: Arabella, Caroline, John Jr., and Patrick. Today, Caroline is the only surviving child of JFK.

Caroline Kennedy followed in her father’s footsteps and went into politics. From 2013 to 2017, she  served as the 29th U.S. Ambassador to Japan.

In 1986, Caroline married Edwin Schlossberg. The two have three children together: Rose, Tatiana, and Jack. Born on January 19, 1993, Jack is JFK’s only grandson.

Although Jack is only 25, he’s already been very successful in life. Jack was valedictorian of his high school class before he went on to attend Yale University. He graduated from Yale in 2015 with a degree in history.

Because he’s a member of the Kennedy family, it’s no surprise that Jack has an interest in pursuing politics — after all, he’s part of one of the most prominent political families in history.

What’s a little more surprising, though, is that Jack also has some interest in acting. On May 11, 2018, Jack appeared on the television show Blue Bloods as a cop named “Officer Jack Hammer.”

Despite this appearance, Jack told The Today Show that he doesn’t plan on pursuing a career in acting. Apparently his role on Blue Bloods was more of a one-time thing. Jack explained that Blue Bloods is his favorite show, and it was always a dream of his to do a cameo.

I don’t know about you, but I’d love to see Jack do some more television show appearances!

Do you watch Blue Bloods? Did you realize that Officer Jack Hammer was actually played by JFK’s grandson? Don’t forget to share this article with your friends!
