Well, if you’re a pickle-lover, you’ll be happy to know that there are some quick-pickling hacks you can use to eat this salty treat sooner rather than later.
Following the instructions below, you can make your own DIY two-hour pickles!
- 8 small cucumbers
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 head of garlic
- 1 bunch of dill
Step 1: Cut Cucumbers
To begin, cut the ends off of all your cucumbers. Next, slice the cucumbers lengthwise. It’s only necessary to cut them in half, but you can cut them into quarters if you’d prefer.
Step 2: Cut Garlic
Take all the cloves from the head of garlic and cut each clove in half.
Step 3: Add Salt, Garlic, And Dill
Combine the cucumbers, salt, garlic, and dill in a plastic container. Shake the container in order to evenly spread out the ingredients.
Step 4: Wait 2 Hours
Next, put the plastic container aside and forget about it for two hours. Once the hours have passed, open the container and eat your delicious pickles!
