‘Charmed’ Stars Set To Reunite Without Alyssa Milano To Honor Shannen Doherty

Weeks after Shannen Doherty died from cancer at 53, her Charmed co-stars are planning to reunite at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida for the ‘90s Con. All, including Rose McGowan, Holly Marie Combs, Drew Fuller, Brian Krause, Dorian Gregory, and Jennifer Rhodes, will be present. However, Alyssa Milano will not be in attendance.

The castmates will be paying tribute to Shannen, who played one of the sister trio Prue Halliwell in the eight-season drama. With the announcement up on Instagram, fans look forward to meeting with their ‘90s TV favorites, and honoring Shannen beyond social media.

Milano is currently in rehearsal for her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the Chicago musical. The play runs from mid-September to November at the Ambassador Theater in New York. “I’m not even sure what day of rehearsal this is. But we are getting there,” the 51-year-old posted earlier this week, accompanied by a photo of her climbing a stage ladder.

Meanwhile, a big fan named Troy Kellahan urged his followers to attend the Con via his Instagram page, with a catchy design showing the incredible line of stars making their way down. “Let’s relive those magical 90s moments together—it’s going to be an unforgettable experience!” he gushed.

Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano’s infamous feud

It is no news that Shannen and Milano did not get along, but that did not stop the latter from paying her respects when the tragic news of Shannen’s death broke. She admitted to their complicated relationship but did not deny Shannen’s witty personality and talent, which she highly respected.

During last December’s episode of Shannen’s Let’s Be Clear podcast, the late-screen icon unearthed their feud once again by mentioning that she did not quit Charmed but was forced to quit thanks to Milano’s move. Her co-star had threatened to sue the production for an unconducive work environment if they did not lay Shannen off, hence their decision.
