WATCH: Michael Keaton Shows Up As Beetlejuice To Interview Himself On ‘Hot Ones’

Ahead of Beetlejuice 2’s release in September, Michael Keaton shows up as his character Beetlejuice in a parody of Sean Evans’ Hot Ones show. In the skit renamed Not Ones, Beetlejuice is seen chugging a bottle of hot sauce before proceeding to answer questions from Keaton.

Keaton broke the ice by welcoming Beetlejuice, who told him to hurry as he had a spa appointment next. The mischievous character continued to eat from the hot platter, which came with a Skullville scale rather than the usual Scoville one.

Beetlejuice’s inspiration

Beetlejuice revealed that his inspirations across generations include the likes of 19th-century French emperor Napoleon, who she claims was a good pal, the mad Caligula, and surprisingly Justin Bieber. He admitted that Caligula was indeed a wild man as he was known for excessive taxation of the Romans during his reign.

Some minutes in, Keaton asks his character if he is enjoying the spicy platter and is met with a shocking response as Beetlejuice says the ribs remind him of a guy he ate in Seattle. The unhinged pinstripe-wearing creature then farts fire and asks, “Who the hell are you?” as a fed-up Keaton leaves the stage.
