Tori Spelling And Her ‘90210’ Co-Star Brian Austin Green Did Not Speak For 18 Years After The Show Ended

Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green found friendship beyond playing Donna Martin and David Silver during their 10-year run in Beverly Hills, 90210; however, their bond would suddenly break and remain unmended for nearly two decades after.

Tori surprisingly appeared on a recent episode of Austin’s Oldish podcast, where they both discussed the decline of their friendship to a point where they never spoke for 18 years. As opposed to a messy fallout, the duo mutually fell back into their space after the show’s finale and never bothered to reach out.

While the former co-stars trashed their differences, it appears Austin held a grudge after being met with little to no enthusiasm from Tori to keep their friendship going. He ran into her days after the wrap-up at her boyfriend Vincent Young’s home but painfully received the cold shoulder from Tori.

Austin’s last straw was another encounter at the show’s DVD release party, which Tori attended with her now ex-husband Dean McDermott, and Austin with his former wife Megan Fox. He claimed Tori never bothered to say “hello,” and even when he tried meeting up with her, she was nowhere to be found.

Tori gives reasons for keeping away from Brian

Interestingly, Austin and Tori recreated their butterflies from Beverly Hills, 90210, in real life as they briefly dated before Tori met Vincent. This made Tori feel awkward around Austin, who she felt did not approve of the toxic relationship she had with Vincent. Out of fear of Austin’s criticism, Tori stayed out of the way and just never reconnected until now.

Tori recalled feeling devasted about their last conversation, where Austin promised that they would remain together and go on vacations. Ironically, the opposite happened and this hurt Austin very much, as well. The 51-year-old recalled viewing the friendship as one-sided when he would call and visit Tori without reciprocation. Thankfully, the former TV lovebirds have seen each other’s perspective and may attempt to mend their longtime misunderstanding.
