’90s Star Melissa Joan Hart Has Fans Talking After Looking ‘Crazed’ In Recent Photo

Actress Melissa Joan Hart shared an unusual photo on Instagram, which raised concern among her followers, who wondered if she was okay. The Sabrina The Teenage Witch star appeared disheveled and baggy-eyed in the snap, which she captioned, “Felt cute… might delete later!”

In the post, Hart wore a plaid, blue shirt over a black tank top with her messy blonde hair with a center part and her makeup looking smudged. From the rest of her message, one could tell she was on set for an upcoming movie, giving panicky followers their answer. “…#workmood this #truecrime Monday! #TheBadGuardian,” she added, tagging Lifetime TV, promoting a new project she’s been working on.

Hart’s followers played along and joked about her costume, although some insisted she looked “adorable” regardless. “You’re a stay at home mama and it’s a rough week. ..It’s only Monday,” someone jested. “Stop it. I can’t stop laughing! Time for some r&r after this movie,” another added. Another complimented her glam-free look for being “better than all the plastic faces. Another said, “This is me after too many glasses of wine (2 — I’m getting old) the night before. But you look much cuter!” “No one suspected her, until the neighbor noticed her smeared mascara. She would have never have gone out like that, unless something were amiss,” someone assumed, likely referring to the character Hart portrayed. “Why u look sooooooo CRAAAAZY CUZ????” another exclaimed.

Bad Guardian is a movie “about one woman’s fight to save her father from the clutches of a corrupt and greedy court-appointed guardian,” relatable to pop singer Britney Spears’ controversial story. The film, also starring Eric Pierpoint and La La Anthony, “is inspired by countless true stories of individuals who have been put in the care of a guardian by the courts and raises the question — are these caretakers helpful or harmful?”

The production has sparked mixed reactions online with a follower in her comments expressing their displeasure as well. “Your story of taking Britney Spears out is disgusting. I always knew there was something off about you. You are all ego disguised,” they snapped. Bad Guardian features Hart’s character Leigh trying to release her dad, Jason— played by Eric, from the clutches of his evil guardian Janet.
