Dolly Parton Makes History As She Earns 3 New Guinness World Records

Renowned country music legend Dolly Parton continues to amass an awe-inspiring collection of career achievements as she adds three more Guinness World Records to her illustrious repertoire. As a recognition for her boundless creativity and unmistakable talent, the 77-year-old was recently bestowed with the prestigious title for having the most studio albums released by a female country singer in the world.

Per Guinness World Records, Parton has achieved a remarkable feat by releasing a total of 65 albums throughout her illustrious career, spanning from her debut album, Hello, I’m Dolly, in 1967 to her latest studio masterpiece, Run, Rose, Run, which she released in 2022.

The superstar has now added 10 new Guinness World Records to her impressive collection. These latest achievements complement the seven records she already held, which ranged from “Most decades with a Top 20 hit on the U.S. Hot Country Songs Chart, Most No.1 Hits on the U.S. Hot Country Songs Chart by a Female Artist, Most Hits on the U.S. Hot Country Songs Chart by a Female Artist, and Longest Span of No.1 Hits on the U.S. Hot Country Songs Chart.

In addition to the aforementioned achievements, Parton has also claimed several other remarkable records. These notable accolades include holding the title for Most Decades on the U.S. Hot Country SongsCchart (Female). Also, she made history as the first country singer to be nominated for the EGOT, an extraordinary feat that showcases her versatility and recognition across various entertainment realms.
