Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming fired back at news reports that claimed that the actor’s ex-wife, Demi Moore is moving in with them after the Die Hard star was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. This is coming after the 60-year-old shared an update about the health of her ex-husband and appreciated fans and well-wishers for their support.
However, the model has refuted the claims once and for all. she took to her Instagram to slam newsmen for peddling false news. “Let’s nip this one in the bud,” Emma Heming Willis wrote in the caption of her Instagram story. “This is so dumb. Please stop.”
Emma Willis slammed pressmen on March 5th after paparazzi photos of Bruce getting coffee with friends surfaced on the internet. “If you are someone who is looking after someone who has dementia, you know how difficult and how stressful it can be, just to get them out into the world and navigate them safely – even just to get a cup of coffee,” she said. “In the spirit of raising awareness for dementia, it’s clear that a lot of education needs to be put forth.”
Also, she pleaded with photographers to give Bruce his “space” anytime they see him outside. “Just keep your space. I know this is your job, but maybe just keep your space. For the video people, please don’t be yelling at my husband, asking me how he’s doing, the ‘woo-hoo’-ing and the ‘yippy-ki-yays,’ please don’t do it, OK?” the 44-year-old said. “Allow for our family or whoever is with him that day to get him from point A to point B safely.”
Also, the mother of two revealed that she wants to use her platforms to raise awareness about her husband’s medical condition. She took to her Instagram on Tuesday, March 7 to post a video where she discussed channeling her pain into something beneficial to all. “I just saw something about me getting my five minutes, which is great,” Emma Willis said. “Which means that you’re listening. So I’m going to take my five minutes and I’m going to turn it into 10 because I’m always going to advocate for my husband.”
She also added that her awareness will also be focused on healthcare professionals. “And, while I’m at it, I’m going to raise awareness around FTD and for caregivers, who are unsung heroes out there,” she continued. “And then, and then, I am going to turn my grief and my anger and my sadness and do something good around something that feels less than. So, watch this space, because I didn’t come to play.”
