A picture says a thousand words, they say. Looking through old photos can bring a wave of different emotions— from joy to pangs of nostalgia— negative or positive. Some family photos also take you back in time and give you a glimpse of life before you were born.
Family photos are a great way to connect with one another and also preserve the knowledge of those before for those ahead. These photos might be adorable photos of your grandparent’s wedding, photos of you as a baby, your old house before your family moved, etc.
Here are some family photos that will have you in your feelings:

This photo from the ‘50s looks straight out of a movie with the user’s grandmother and great-aunt dressed in matching clothes— a green top and red skirt. A Christmas tree with glowing tinsels was in the backdrop, and both ladies posed, exchanging gifts.
A user on Twitter celebrated his dad’s birth anniversary on Twitter with a then-and-now photo of himself and his dad. “He actually delivered me at home himself. We decided to reenact this moment, 21 years later. Happy Birthday pops,” the user captioned the side-by-side photos.
