Fans wonder if Joy-Anna is expecting twins
Fans of 19 Kids and Counting think the Duggar might be growing by two more instead of one. Joy-Anna is very far along in her pregnancy with Austin Forsyth but recent photo of her baby bump has fans thinking she might be having twins.
The program that put her in the spotlight started as 17 Kids and Counting. With the final lineup of 19 children, Joy-Anna is just about in the middle as the ninth child. She turned 25 this October and tied the knot with Forsyth in 2017. What about the growing family of their own?
Earlier this month, Joy-Anna took to Instagram to share a new photo of herself and her baby bump. “21 Weeks,” she excitedly informed her 1.1 million followers, accompanied by a single blue heart. But maybe it should be two hearts, another blue or a pink one? That’s what fans theorize, anyway.
In the comments, fans are speculating. “Did I miss a twins announcement?” one asked. Another praised and speculated, “Big baby I believe. Or two.” The gender is a certainty, at least; Joy-Anna had confirmed she was having a boy. Whether that means just one sizable rascal or a sibling has yet to be confirmed or denied by her by time of writing, though.
Anna-Joy first met Forsyth at a homeschooling conference as a child. After a late spring wedding, the couple became the parents of two kids: Gideon Martyn and Evelyn Mae. So, twins or single baby boy, Anna-Joy is growing a nice family for herself. It’s also confirmed that the name James will be somewhere in the new baby’s name, in honor of Forsyth’s late father Edwin James. This is in contrast to her own father’s name, Jim Bob Duggar.
In recent years, Anna-Joy has received some criticism from other parents, though. She shared a shot of her living room, revealing a free-standing television set on top of a low cabinet. That, concerned parents noted, could be a serious tipping hazard for the kids. They similarly worried after seeing a picture of Gideon barefoot in his father’s bulldozer, with one advising, “Kids shouldn’t be taught to view tractors as ‘playgrounds,’ even when they’re stationary. It just seems to set a bad precedent.”
