Many of The Brady Bunch stars reunited once again for the 2022 Emmys red carpet. Barry Williams, Mike Lookinland, Susan Olsen, Christopher Knight, and Eve Plumb all showed up and posed together before attending the star-studded event. Unfortunately for Marcia fans, Maureen McCormick seemingly did not attend.
The stars came together to celebrate being featured in a special episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. RuPaul’s Drag Race was nominated for several Emmys this year. In 2021, some of the Brady siblings joined a crossover event called Dragging the Classics: The Brady Bunch.
In the special, Barry played patriarch Mike while Mike Lookinland and Christopher reprised their roles from the original show. Eve and Susan played new characters and they were joined by Drag Race stars Bianca Del Rio (Carol), Shea Couleé (Marcia), Kylie Sonique Love (Jan), Kandy Muse (Cindy), Nina West (Alice), and BenDeLaCreme (Greg).
They re-enacted the Brady Bunch episode “Will the Real Jan Brady Please Stand Up?” In the original episode, Jan decides that she wants to stand out in the family and purchases a curly black wig so she can become a new Jan. Of course, antics ensue.
The Emmys were hosted by Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson and aired on Monday night. In case you missed the award show, you can stream it now on Peacock.
