Melissa Gilbert Shares Her Pick For Scariest Halloween Costume

Melissa Gilbert recently shared “the most terrifying Halloween costume of all time.” She came across the costume and had to share it on social media with her fans. Partly because the costume was Little House on the Prairie-themed, the show that Melissa is best known for.

Melissa shared a photo of the costume, including the very creepy mask. The costume is supposed to be her character, Laura Ingalls, from the long-running series. However, it doesn’t quite fit the bill. The mask is a smiling face with cutouts for eyes. It has a bonnet and the rest of the costume is a brightly colored prairie dress. It all looks very plastic but it appears to be a nostalgic costume. We wonder where Melissa found it! Upon a quick Amazon search, the costume doesn’t come up but a range of adorable prairie dresses do.

Perhaps Melissa was searching for costumes for her newest member of the family. Her son recently had a baby and Melissa has been loving being a grandma. She shares plenty of photos and videos of her experience with her granddaughter, Ripley Lou Brinkman.

We can’t wait to see what costume Ripley will wear for Halloween! We bet it will be very cute and not creepy like the Little House on the Prairie costume.
