‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Contestant’s Wrong Answers Make The Rounds On Social Media

A Wheel of Fortune contestant’s wrong answers are going viral online and it seems like it’s become the new talk of the town. While trying to figure out the answer to the puzzle, “_ _ L _ Y G O O _ F E L L O W,” contestant Melanie Fisher buzzed in and said, “Jolly GOOF fellow.”

It’s worth noting even the smartest of people can make mistakes sometimes. Fisher graduated from college, finishing in just three years while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. Fellow contestant J.R. Browning answered the correct answer to the puzzle, “Jolly GOOD Fellow,” just a few moments after Fisher’s mishap.

People cannot stop talking about this contestant’s wrong answers

As expected, Wheel of Fortune fans watching from home were extremely amused by the blunder. “I can’t stop laughing. No disrespect, but c’mon “Goof Fellow”… G O O F,” one fan writes on Twitter. Another says, “I guess that answer was not GOOF enough…”

That wasn’t the only moment that had social media abuzz… and it seems like Fisher was having a pretty rough night. Later in the episode, she attempted to solve what was supposed to be “Wolves and sheep,” and instead guessed “Wilkes and sheep,” which obviously doesn’t make sense. And people couldn’t stop talking about it at home.

“How the heck didn’t any of them know it was wolves?” One fan writes online. Another says, “I swear the people are getting dumber by the episode.”

Despite Fisher’s errors in judgment, she had the last laugh and made it all the way to the final puzzle. She got that wrong, but still landed over $20,000. Watch the error happen in the video below.
