Texas Teen Wins Guinness World Record For The ‘Longest Legs’, See The Photos

A Texas teen has won the Guinness World Record for having the longest legs, her left leg being 53.255 inches long, and her right 52.874 inches long. Guinness says her legs actually make up 60 percent of her total height. Maci Currin is the 17-year-old girl who reigns as the Guinness World Record holder for longest legs, standing at 6 feet, 10 inches.

“You don’t really fit into the category of ‘normal,’” Currin tells Guinness. “You’re unique, you have something different, and people are drawn to it.”

Even though Currin was viewed as different by her peers, she was able to find support on TikTok, where she has 1.7 million followers. Her videos detail her daily struggles as being a tall person in a world where not everything is curated especially for tall people.

“Certain cars, I can’t even fit into because my legs are too long for it. If I walk into a regular store, nothing will fit me because they don’t really make clothes in my size, especially for pants [and] leggings. I have to get them custom-made.” Currin decided to go after the Guinness World Record to help taller women feel more confident.

“I hope that tall women can see that the height is a gift,” she tells Guinness. “And that you shouldn’t be ashamed that you’re tall. You should really embrace it.”
