There was a very strange Jeopardy! game on the other night. Even the longtime host Alex Trebek was shocked at how the game turned out. It was a solo Final Jeopardy which rarely happens. This meant that the other two contestants didn’t have any money and couldn’t advance to the final round.

Alex said in the episode, “The stage looks like a really lonely place right now. I cannot recall the last time we had only one player in Final Jeopardy!” Only contestant Kevin Walsh landed in Final Jeopardy. Alex recommended that he could risk a bundle!
