Country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary. While appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Tim shared more about the gift he gave his wife for their anniversary. Their anniversary falls on October 6th and Tim said this is the first one they have spent apart!
Tim McGraw is currently on tour and was performing in Australia on their anniversary. He revealed what he got his wife for their special day. Tim said, “I recorded the very first song we ever did together. We did the Spontaneous Combustion Tour, where we met when she was opening for me on my very first headlining tour. And we used to do the Tony Rich song ‘Nobody Knows.’ So I recorded that backstage with the guys and we sent it to her for our anniversary.”

Of course, the audience loved the story and Kelly Clarkson said that was “pretty cute.” Tim and Faith met in 1994, backstage at the 1994 CRS New Faces show. In 1996 they went on tour together and got married in October 1996.
Both stars also shared photos and sweet messages to each other on their Instagram pages. Tim shared a nostalgic photo of the couple and wrote, “Happy anniversary baby!! 23 years and I can’t wait for the next 50!!! I love u.” Faith said, “To my one and only, Happy Anniversary, my love. I love you.” They are so cute! Happy anniversary, Faith and Tim!
Tim also opened up about almost being empty nesters. Tim and Faith have three daughters, Gracie, 22, Maggie, 21, and Audrey, 17. Two of the older girls are already moved out, so Kelly asked if they were excited to be empty nesters.
Tim replied, “I don’t know if we’re excited… Gracie and Maggie are gone and we miss them.” Well, it seems like Tim and Faith have a great relationship, so they will probably get used to a house without kids eventually!
