Recipe for Salmon Cakes
This recipe makes about 7 or 8 patties, depending on how big you like them. They should be ready in about 20 minutes, with 10 minutes of prep time. It goes well with macaroni and cheese as a side dish. Here are the ingredients:
- 1 (14.75 ounces) can salmon, drained and flaked
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Then, you’ll need to go through the salmon and remove any bones that you find. Next, put the salmon in a mixing bowl after beating the eggs. Add the onion and pepper and mix thoroughly. When the mixture looks good, shape into patties. Fry each patty for about five minutes on each side in a large skillet on medium heat. Heat up a little oil first so they get nice and golden brown on the outside.
