If you were big into Sears and their toys, you remember spending so much time digging through the Sears Wishbook to pick out what toys to add to your Christmas wishlist that year! You have to make sure your wishlist is complete before sending your letter off to Santa Claus. The Sears Wishbook obviously plays an important role in that and, while it’s not around anymore, we certainly remember the joy it brought us all!
Think about the toys you used to pick out from the wishlist… do you remember them? Take a look at 15 toys from the Sears Wishbook that we were all wishing for years ago!
1. Talking Pee-Wee Herman Doll
You can almost hear him talking once more!
2. See N’ Speak
Who had one of these things? These were so much fun to play with back in the day!
3. Kitchen Playset
I always wanted a kitchen playset when I was younger! I never got one, but was able to enjoy them in school as a kid.
4. Barbie and the Sensations
This Barbie collection was extremely sought-after, seeing that it came with a tape of songs that you could sing along to!
5. Baby Grows
The description for this toy says the following: “Baby Grows is as fun as two dolls in one! Just turn her special handle and watch her grow from a 14 1/2 in., 9-month-old infant to a 18 1/2 in., 4-year-old toddler. She even grows teeth!” A little too realistic if I may say so?
6. Table Hockey
Instead of putting on skates and getting in a cold ice rink, you could just stay inside a warm house and play table hockey. It was still just as fun!
7. Handheld Games
These retro handheld games look so much different nowadays, but we certainly recognize these! They were so much fun to kill time with.
