Catherine Zeta-Jones is a proud mom! She recently shared a photo to her Instagram of herself with her son, Dylan, who is 19 and a college student! He is attending Brown University. “On campus with my boy Dylan,” the caption says. Dylan is a sophomore this year and the older he gets, the more and more he looks like his famous dad!
In the photo, mama sports a black coat, circle sunglasses, beige lace scarf, while Dylan has on a navy peacoat, black bomber and a Japanese Star Wars shirt. They both look great and bet they had a fun day on campus together!
Catherine Zeta-Jones and son Dylan, off at college!
Zeta-Jones was allegedly in town and decided to stop by for a visit! She documents everything on her now-expired Instagram story. “I think my son needs a new tube of toothpaste. College life,” she writes jokingly on her story. The photo was of a very twisted-up tube of toothpaste (let’s face it, we’ve all let it get to that point before!)
Other photos showed her son enjoying the Rhode Island air and enjoying their time with one another! Unfortunately, dad, Michael Douglas was not able to come around for the visit. However, he was on-hand to welcome daughter Carys back home the following day from boarding school.
His parents talk very highly of him
Douglas would speak very highly of his son in a recent interview with Ellen Degeneres. The 75-year-old calls his son a “daredevil” when talking about one specific moment. “He just did a skydiving thing,” Douglas reveals about his son. “But I remember that age. It’s a hormonal thing, I think, for boys, testing yourself … I just think it 00 you know, what I did not like is he was the first one to jump.”
Mom, dad, and Carys first dropped off Dylan to college in September 2018 and it was quite the emotional moment for mama. She even had a black-and-white video documenting the entire experience, and the video was called “college dorm drop off video.” In the video, he is seen giving his sister a tight hug. The video also transitions to moments of Dylan and his parents together when he was a kid.
We bet as much fun as Dylan is having at college, he, without a doubt, misses his family, too!
