Speeding is a dangerous habit so much that this grandmother decided to fight back. For instance here, Patti Forest Baumgartner of Montana creatively decided to try and deter speeding on her local street with a fake radar gun. She was worried about her grandchildren playing near a road in which vehicles frequently sped on.
Patti thought a hairdryer looked an awful lot like a radar gun. Therefore, she grabbed her most comfortable chair and parked herself on the edge of the road. The ploy was in motion as Patti sat with the hairdryer and pointed it at fast-traveling cars, acting as if she was monitoring passing speed.
Her son, Tim Baumgartner, took the photo of her sitting along the road with her hairdryer in one hand and a red cup of a favorite beverage in another. We applaud both Grandma Patti for her actions and Tim for the photo evidence!
Her son actually posted the photo on Twitter while tagging a local Montana Highway Patrol Trooper. The trooper tracked down Patti and made her an honorary Montana trooper.
What do you think? Was Patti fighting the good fight or were her actions a little dangerous?
