Everyone loves a good patriotic tune, especially with a great twist on it that makes it sound even better than before! The a cappella group Home Free is a country a cappella group that won the 4th season of NBC’s The Sing-Off in 2013. This would earn the group $100,000 and a recording contract with Sony. They have gone on to become incredibly successful in the world of a cappella music.

They are also not shy about their patriotism and love for America. The group released a gorgeous rendition of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA” in 2016. Since then, the video has garnered almost 10 million views.

Many fans were sounding off in the comments section of the video, some of them not even American but still showing support. One person says, “God bless America and God bless our servicemen and women! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.” Another says, “I’m not even close to being an American, but I cried listening to this song.”

“As a Veteran…thank you for doing us proud…a fine rendition…you made me cry, which is a good thing,” one person says in the comments. The video actually begins with a small text intro saying, “For Veterans Everywhere.”

The video in and of itself is a patriotic nod to our nation’s veterans

The rendition is absolutely stunning and will make you fall in love with the patriotic tune all over again. The video ends with a quote by the 16th U.S. President, Abraham Lincoln. “Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor, also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as he best can, for the same cause.”
