Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire Will Be Special Guests Next To Host Carrie Underwood At The 2019 CMA Awards

  • The ceremony will air live on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

 

This year’s Country Music Association Awards will be hosted by Carrie Underwood, alongside the legendary Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire! The press release for the awards says it will be “celebrating legendary women in country music throughout the ceremony.”

CMA Chief Executive Officer Sarah Trahern talks about the upcoming CMA Awards ceremony. “It’s an incredible honor to welcome Carrie, Reba, and Dolly to the CMA Awards stage this year,” she says. You can watch the 2019 CMA Awards on ABC at 8pm ET. The show will broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 13th.

2019 CMA Awards Celebrating Women In Country Music

“In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the game, the 53rd Annual CMA Awards will celebrate the legacy of women within country music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show,” Trahern continues.

The final nominees for this year’s CMA Awards ceremony will take place on August 28th on Good Morning America. The ceremony will air live on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and we’re so excited to see some of our favorite women host and perform that evening!

Country Singer Brad Paisley Is Not Hosting The 2019 CMAs

Country star Brad Paisley usually co-hosts for the CMA Awards alongside Underwood. Paisley’s representatives did not respond for a comment as to why he’s not hosting this year. Most noteworthy, he did share some words of encouragement for the 2 new hosts this year.

“As a fan of all 3 of these amazing women, I can’t wait to watch,” Paisley says in a tweet, referencing the new CMA hosts announcement.
