Not only does lavender smell great, but it also has a lot of healing properties. You can also add lavender to many recipes to give it a unique taste that can do wonders for your body and mind. These days there are so many lavender recipes… I’ve even tried lavender cupcakes and they were so good!

Lavender lemonade has gone viral around the Internet because it tastes great and can help a variety of ailments including headaches, anxiety, and insomnia. Bonus points: the recipe is pretty easy to make and would be a hit at your next party or get together.

First, gather up all of the ingredients and a large jug or pitcher. You will need about 12 cups of pure, filtered water, one cup of raw organic honey, two drops of lavender essential oil (it is very strong so don’t overdo it!), six peeled and juiced lemons, and lemons and lavender springs if you want to add garnishes.

Then simply combine all of the ingredients and add more honey if you would like to make the lavender lemonade a little sweeter! Drink it before bed if you have trouble sleeping or any time you feel anxious or stressed out.
